Day 4 (23 January 2013)
On Day 4, the group split. The postgraduate students went on a trip to Utrecht for the day and the undergraduate students went on a tour of Amsterdam with George (and a lot of questions). See what Amsterdam has to offer.

On to the postgraduates, who went to Utrecht to see how the city with a medieval heart was coping with the demands of expansion. The students went on a site visit to talk about project management issues in Utrecht and they also visited Utrecht Town Hall - a series of medieval buildings that have been brought together with a new facade designed by the architect Enric Miralles (he also designed the Scottish Parliament Building which is also going to be used as a case study for the postgraduate students). In the afternoon the students visited JHK Architecten to look at their work. Take a look at the JHK blog.
